Award winning British-Chinese artist based in Denmark, intricately blends the serene influences of the Orient and Scandinavia into her exclusive creations.

As a professional painter, poet, and philosopher, she develops and expresses the essence of her contemporary interpretation of "Artistic Femininity" throughout her artworks.

Jia's life journey has taken her through China, Singapore, London, Chicago, and now Copenhagen, enriching her with a deep understanding of diverse cultures, history and the human soul.

Artistically trained at the Florence Academy of Art, Jia's immersion in fine art and international life experiences have profoundly shaped her artistic perspective. In addition to her art training, professionally Jia serves as an assessor at the University of Cambridge, specialising in High Impact Leadership academically. She views art as a potent means of soul empowerment and aligning inner purpose with profound impact for humanity. Jia's art reflects a unique blend of cultural influences, showcasing global diversity in its beauty and emotional depth.

Artist philosophy

Jia is the creator of the contemporary concept of Artistic Femininity, it embodies qualities traditionally associated with the feminine, such as grace, intuition, sensitivity, and nurturing to its core. It encompasses a deep and intuitive understanding of emotions, requires a courageous and truthful connection to others and to the innermost self, and a penchant for expressing beauty and kindness in confident, elegant, subtle and nuanced ways. It also thrives from one's deep communion with nature, fosters a sense of belonging and wholeness, as one realises they are part of a larger, harmonious ecosystem, where the serene beauty and rhythms of nature provide a backdrop for introspection and renewal.

Artistic femininity also involves embracing vulnerability, dark times and past experiences. Constantly striving for rebirth, awakenings and nurturing new, free fluidity of expressions, and celebrating the interconnectedness of all experiences, cultures, languages and forms.

Out of which, most significant, this purest and omnipotent energy derives from the interconnectedness one shall have with themselves and their souls, where arts are the best vessels through which this profound connection could be intuitively expressed, transcending boundaries and resonating with the essence of existence.
